·1999年1月 开通2857英语声询台
·1999年3月 《洋话连篇》电视节目在北京电视台播出
·2000年3月 《洋话连篇》电视节目在北京1套首播2000年4月《洋话连篇》加入“北京市民讲英语委员会”与《北京青年报》
和办市民学英语专栏应观众要求开设了会员俱乐部
·2000年6月 在北京开设短期口语培训试验班
·2000年7月 《洋话连篇》进入中国教育3台播出《洋话连篇》进入2000年北京电视节
·2000年8月 首期短期培训试验结束，累计培训1000人次，取得良好效应
·2000年9月至2001年8月 陆续推出《洋话连篇》系列电视栏目及书籍截止2002年，以品牌授权方式在全国范围内成立的连锁
加盟学校遍布全国十几个城市和地区，参与创立的“东方洋话”翻译机构覆盖了全国30多个省市。
·2002年11月 太原洋话连篇语言培训学校签署加盟协议，正式加盟洋话连篇

| Brief Introduction
of Taiyuan MODERN ENGLISH School |
Taiyuan MODERN ENGLISH School
is located on Bingzhoulu Road. We are the only education organization
in Shanxi region authorized by Beijing MODERN ENGLISH. We
are licensed by the Foreign Expert Bureau to employ foreign
experts. We’re appraised as excellent school by Shanxi province,
and was chosen as one of the ‘Top Ten Famous Foreign Language
Training Organizations’ by SINA English Channel, and also
appraised as a National Honest & Self-discipline advanced
unit by MCA.
11/2002 We officially
joined in Beijing MODERN ENGLISH
1/8/2003 Taiyuan
MODERN ENGLISH School came into existence.
A news release conference held in the Nangong Hall by Hogan
president of Beijing MODERN ENGLISH attracted an audience
of thousands, which created a sensation in English training
industry.
In the same year, we gave some public lectures on ‘creating
new ideas about English learning’ in Taiyuan No.5 middle school,
Taiyuan No.10 middle school and Chengcheng middle school,
which raised our reputation among students.
4/2004 The free English training for 110 center
of the Taiyuan Police was highly welcomed and it enhanced
the image of Taiyuan police .
5/2004 Our brilliant success in the training
on financial employee qualification exams was greatly appreciated
and praised by People’s bank of China.
7/2004 We succeeded in training the Industrial
and Commercial Bank of China .
7/2004 The first English village of MODERN
ENGLISH was joined by hundreds of people and was held in the
Business College of Shanxi University. We created a pure English
environment that students could study and live with foreign
experts in a period of time. This became the first totally
enclosed English learning village in Shanxi province.
7/2004 We created the brand new ‘Freeman Oral
English Course’ that is the only all-day English training
organization for adult in Taiyuan.
5/2005 Training for the financial employee
qualification exam was held again.
6/2005 A contract for business training for
Lenovo (Beijing) Co. Ltd Taiyuan Branch was signed. We supplied
a half-year training course including daily oral English and
business English.
7/2005 We together with UCE Education Group
of America held ‘Hundreds of Foreign Experts coming to Shanxi’
English Village that enrolled thousands of students from Taiyuan,
Yangquan, Xiaoyi and Qingxu.
1/2006 We were appraised as annual advanced
school (2004-2005) by Taiyuan Education Department.
5/2006 Training for the financial employee
qualification exam was held for the third time.
7/2006 Together with the Teachers’ Association
of BC Provincial Education Department of Canada, we held ‘Hundreds
of Foreign Experts coming to Shanxi’ English Village in Taiyuan,
Yangquan, Changzhi and Jincheng, which raised the reputation
of our school in our province.
7/2007 Together with UCE Education Group of
America, we succeeded in holding 15-day ‘Young Learner Elite
English Training’ in Taiyuan Xinxiao Bilingual Experiment
Elementary School.
7/2007 Airport English training for the Taiyuan
Civil Aviation Airport Group was conduced and achieved remarkable
results and a high approval rating by the client.
8/2007 A contract on business training for
Taiyuan Heavy Industry Co. Ltd was signed.
11/2007 we signed a three-month English training
contract with TSCOL.

As you can see from within a few years, we have established
an oral English training base in Shanxi province and benefited
from the services of many excellent foreign experts from North
America. From the beginning, we have trained outstanding students
in various fields, white-collar workers, and some high officials
among others. A great number of trainees have been to Britain,
United States, Canada, Australia where they benefited from
living and working abroad. |
